New Zealand musicians Elipsa (vocalist) and Willy Mav (DJ, Producer) approached me to design their set visuals for Rythm and Vines 2020. They operate independently but decided to perform a string of shows together. The design was to incorporate elements from both brands and include six scenes. I was the sole designer
Set Showreel
Song: ‘Falling’ – Willy Mav, Elipsa
Their set would take place during sunset at an outdoor stage. To create a natural flow to the set, the scenes would mimic the colours the audience would be experiencing above them.
The set would also be on-brand. Elipsa’s branding heavily focuses on space themes. Willy Mav has hints of sunset colours in his brand. Altogether this promotes a compelling visual experience that will stand out in the audience’s memories.
